Update

Posted by Sevi - September 23rd, 2022

Hello, how are you? I have an update to share. I've reached a turning point in my life, probably the biggest, and it will impact every aspect of it.

One of them is how I view the internet.

I set a patreon page up in the hopes of receiving support for my projects, and I'm lucky to have the support I did up until now, it's really generous and I truly appreciate it. As you know animation is really expensive, and to help me achieve my goals I need a lot more support. I was hoping it would increase at least to a point where I could dedicate more time to the current project, and further still so I could employ people to help me make these stories come to life. It is clear now that it won't happen for a while. It might be a different story when the first part comes out, but until then, I'm on my own.

I'll be suspending the patreon, and I'm not sure it'll go up after the first part comes out, I'll make a decision then. When the current project's first part comes out and for the rest, the people who've supported me will of course be credited, you don't know how much the support you've given means to me, I want to give you a sincere thank you, not just for the financial aspect, but mostly the encouragement that there are some people out there that want to see these stories. It has been incredibly beneficial.

I haven't shared a lot of art this year, I've been mostly concentrating on Project HAMA, and other projects. Currently the internet is not very beneficial for me, but that does not change how I feel about art. I will continue to create my stories, and always strive to improve my craft. If it takes until I'm 80 to finish this story on my own, and I'm one of 7 people watching it, so be it.

I think the internet has become a net negative for society, and it keeps degenerating, but that's a story for another day haha.

You might see less of me, but I'll always be there, somewhere. Behind your garbage bins maybe, up in the attic, in the crawl space...

Somewhere...

Maybe.

Good stuff. Hope you get as much success and artistic fulfillment as possible in this new direction.

Thank you for the kind words!
