I made a post asking about different sleep schedules in relation to energy levels, creativity and productivity, here
On my side with music that runs from 9PM to 1AM.
And then continue sleeping until 5?

Sleep is for weaklings
@Sevi yummy
i have to wake up at 6~7 am every morning so i try my best to go into the realm of dreams before ~12 pm, how do i sleep? my position is like a fetus inside sweet mother's womb, it's the best way comfy
Fetal position is the best position.
I sleep only when I feel tired ( around 10 PM - 11 PM ), but if you try to get a better schedule, force yourself to sleep earlier little by little until you reach your desired hour of sleep. To know at what hour you should sleep, you need to take the hour when you should wake up & do -8h30 ( you can adjust the time to how much you sleep in general, just don't choose stuff like 5h or below, that's just unhealthy & unnatural ).
What I do to fall asleep better : I eat & drink at least 2 hours before going to bed ( brush your teeth after eating ). I avoid social media / interactions & do activities such as reading before 11 PM. Taking a shower before going to bed can help, or just wash your legs.
As for sleeping in itself : I get in a position that I find the comfiest & I try to not think about anything. I get sorts of hallucinations before falling asleep ( maybe I'm dreaming before actually falling asleep, I don't know what it is tbh ), I try to get into them as much as possible until I feel myself falling asleep. Though, sometimes I feel like I'm stumbling on the floor when I do that, so I instinctively get up ; in this case I just repeat the whole process.
Interesting, I can't make myself sleep earlier than normal, I'll just stay awake in bed. I have been using devices less a few hours before bed. I don't know how normal it is, but I also have those "hallucinations' , that's how I sometimes know I'm about to fall asleep.
I sleep alright, though my schedule has a lot of variance. I cut out basically every stimulant in my diet (goodbye chocolate ?) and unscrewed the light in my bedroom. I've also excised most computer/phone stuff from my life, so when the sun goes down I'm just like, "Well, light's gone, sleep time."
Wake up feeling pretty good (when the sun starts shining on my eyes, lol) and I've had decent success on writing/programming projects in spite of having zero motivation.
As for position, I make a little burr-me-to with my sheets and a pillow resting on my head, most of the time on my stomach.
No screens a few hours before bed really helps
