ALSO, I started playing Tetris yesterday as a brain exercise and to take a small break every now and then. This game rules, I think I played it for 5 seconds once like 20 years ago when I was 83, and was not very interested, but now I'm very much so.
So the question is, which is the best version? I'm playing the original GameBoy one.

i enjoy playing tetris effect for my tetris fix, not only do you have the most beautiful and arguably the best version of modern tetris, but you also have a pretty competent classic tetris mode, the multiplayer is still somewhat active, you can find a match in a couple of minutes and if you are not into multiplayer theres plenty of variety in single player content with bunch of different modes that will challenge how you look at tetris. the game is available on steam and pretty much every modern console so check it out

i like the snes one that had a release together with dr. mario
it's the best classic one imo. the nes version is the one usually regarded as such, and is the one used in tournaments and whatnot.
from more modern ones, tetris effect is easily the best - and pretty unique for what it is.
